Copenhagen Design, known for their classic Pantone Living collection that invokes the iconic Pantone Chip design, is bringing the Pantone Color of the Year to life for designers and color-lovers alike. For use at home, in the office or on the go, the collection offers the classic mug and keychain in PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri, enabling anyone to experience the joy of color every day.

CARIUMA

Brazilian sustainable sneaker brand, CARIUMA, is proud to be named Pantone's official footwear partner for their 2022 Color of the Year with limited-edition designs of their sneakers. The classic OCA Low is crafted from high-end raw materials—GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas, natural rubber, recycled plastics—including our signature cork + mamona oil insoles and ultra-classic details, including a fully-stitched outsole and debossed metal aglets.

The Pantone 2022 shade? PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri, a dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet red undertone, a novel color whose dynamic presence encourages personal inventiveness and creativity.

PRIORITY BICYCLES

For the second straight year, NYC-based Priority Bicycles is teaming up with Pantone for a limited-edition capsule collection that takes the spirit of Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022 to the streets.

The Priority Bicycles x Pantone Color of the Year 2022 collection thoughtfully showcases PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri across three distinct adult bicycle models including: Coast (single-speed beach cruiser), Classic Plus - Gotham Edition (3-speed recreational bicycle), and L Train (7-speed urban commuter). The design is inspired by the essence of PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri, as both a head-turner and conversation starter. A dynamic cut-through pop of white contrasted against the richness of PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri delivers energy and excitement to conquer the day—on two wheels!

Each hand-painted bicycle features iconic Pantone branding on the seat tube and flagship Priority attributes like the grease/rust-free Gates Carbon Drive belt in place of a standard chain, internally geared hubs, and high-quality components that promote Priority’s low-maintenance promise.

ARTECHOUSE

A pioneer in the field of experiential art, ARTECHOUSE creates and produces innovative technology driven exhibitions, expanding the possibilities of art and how we experience it. Inspired by the transformational nature and inventiveness of “COLOR”, Pantone partnered with ARTECHOUSE and their creative team to produce a visually and audibly compelling immersive digital experience incorporating rich textures and images of the Color to celebrate the unveiling in an innovative way for the 21st century audience.  ARTECHOUSE New York space, located in a 100-year-old boiler room beneath the Chelsea Market, will serve as the backdrop of our official Color of the Year 2022 announcement to media and influencers across design and creative industries. ARTECHOUSE will further immerse people in the colors by opening an exhibition of the color to the public in 2022.

GLOBE

GLOBE + Pantone collector’s edition skateboards. Pantone Color of the Year 2022, 17-3938 Very Peri will be included as part of our continuing box set editions. This limited edition drop will include 3 skateboard decks - in Resin-7 Canadian Maple, featuring de-bossed branding on the bottom and etched color story on the top, paint dipped in the official Color of the Year. This set includes Very Peri, as well as 2021’s 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and 13-0647 Illuminating. Look for a limited edition 2022 Color of the Year GLOBE Liaizon shoe as well.
